After spending three hours on the phone this morning with clients and bankers I have the following to report:

Colonial Bank is hosting a bunch of regulators who are trying to figure out how to carve up the bank into pieces as opposed to take it over.

And 5th/3rd Bank is enjoying the same type of visit. I expect we will get some distressing news about the two of them in the next few days.

Suntrust will likely go away in the weeks ahead.

Bank United has only a few days left, they are currently under a cease and desist order from the Feds.
